Hello!
We are Dylan and Emma, a young couple from Canada. We are in pursuit of great adventures, unique learning experiences, and capturing life at its fullest. We are looking to find a boat that is leaving Puerto Vallarta after the regatta (which we would also like to volunteer with), on its way to Australia. Any route is fine, although the milk run does have quite a few unique places we'd be interested in seeing.
We are in no way flaky; rather the opposite. We are passionate about that which is important to us, and always give 110%. We are interested in food (both professional bakers by trade, and cooks at heart), self-sustainability, art, music, jewelery making, snorkeling, surfing, diving, photography, extreme sports, philosophy, and much more. We're very easy going and can get along with most people. We don't smoke, nor do we drink that often. We're not the young partying type! Dylan has experience as a deckhand, and doing whale & bear watching tours in Canada, while I have little experience (but I am enthusiastic about cooking and baking!) We also have a small dog (10 pounds) who we would like to bring along with us. A goal of ours to become integrated with a life at sea, and we are eager about learning and practicing theory. We are both hard workers who want to help out in anyway possible. If you are a captain who is willing to take on a pair of newbies and show them the right way to run a ship, we are your people!
We're currently living in Mazatlan, and are ready to be in Puero Vallarta by March. Let us know what you think, and we can discuss other details by email.
